Design
Four years diploma program overall provides a frame-work
which enables students to broaden their practical, conceptual
analytical skills in the field of communication design & advertising.
Courses are designed to equip students with critical, creative
& analytical knowledge/skills to that provide range
of career in the field of design. Development of analytical
techniques & drawing skills that help in visualization
of ideas, are emphasized. Students get quite familiar with
history of the field of communication design; its formal vocabulary
i.e. colors composition typography; In advance levels students
get more challenging studies where class assignments are
taken more like real advertising campaign. In each assignment,
students are independently responsible to develop strategic
approach and make all decisions concerning each aspect of
their campaign, such as, concept, imagery, format, type
paper, printing & published products.
Here students learn to analyze popular cultural trends
& combine them with creative ideas for more effective
communication. Regular lectures / interaction of practicing
professionals elaborating the fields of copy writing, interpersonal
skills necessary for successful client relationship, contemporary
concepts and practice of the profession of advertising design
are also essential part of the curriculum.
